"The Lincoln Lawyer" is a film that reminds us of what should be an obvious fact - good writing is important.
While the acting skills of Matthew McConaughey, Ryan Phillippe and William H. Macy are much appreciated, this film is driven by fine writing.
John Romano's screenplay and Michael Connelly's novel must be saluted.
The twist and turns of this story are a delight to the mind. I felt I was at a party and did not want to see it end, every scene added a new spin to the story. This film was a joy to watch, it demands your total attention and that is a good thing.
