"New Year's Eve" is a film that can best be evaluated by what is missing from the storyline, this movie is without a great many of the elements found in most current productions. Profanity, violence, lewd sexual behavior, sadistic homocidal maniacs, zombies, vampires, drug addicts, gangsters and abusive domestic partners are not present in this tale of romance in Manhattan.
I can only hope this will start a trend for 2012. This was a wonderful film if you like seeing the best side of human nature. The all star cast seemed to enjoy their work, they appreciated making an uplifting film.
If you wait to see this film on television, it will work just as well for you. There is no
urgency about the topic - this film will play just on well next year as this year.
