THERE WILL BE BLOOD

I AM WATCHING THIS FILM AND I AM THINKING --

LAWRENCE OF ARABIA,
THE GODFATHER
THE ROAD TO PERDITION
SAVING PRIVATE RYAN
BLOOD DIAMOND
CHINATOWN
GIANT

I AM WATCHING A MOVIE THAT WILL RANK WITH THE BIG BOYS.

I AM SEEING ALL THE ELEMENTS NEEDED FOR A GREAT FILM AND FOR TWO HOURS, I SAW A GREAT FILM -- UNFORTUNATELY, THE LAST 30 MINUTES OR SO, DID A LOT OF DAMAGE TO WHAT HAD GONE BEFORE.

THE END IS LIKE AN ACTOR'S TRAINING CLASS VIDEO SESSION, GONE MAD.
I HOPE YOU GO SEE THIS FILM AND TAKE YOUR WATCH WITH YOU.

PLEASE NOTE THAT NOTHING WITH ANY REAL MEANING TAKES PLACE, AFTER THE TWO HOUR MARK.

YOU HAVE A LOT OF ACTORS ACTING AND EMOTIONS EMOTING, BUT THE MOVIE JUST LIES ON THE FLOOR BLEEDING TO DEATH FOR LACK OF A STORY TO TELL.

THEY RAN OUT OF IDEAS, BEFORE THEY RAN OUT OF FILM.

THIS IS A VERY FLAWED GEM AND THE FLAWS SEEM TO HOLD THEIR CONVENTION IN THOSE LAST 30 MINUTES.

A FOUR STAR MOVIE ENDS UP BARELY HOLDING ON TO THAT THIRD STAR.

GREAT acting throughout.

Daniel Day Lewis's character is perhaps the most dislikable character EVER in a major film.

HE was out of his mind!
Jumping in last 30 minutes like a 20 year, he was wacky

Then, a GREAT film fizzled at the end.

THEY needed to explain how/why he lost his relationship with his "son", after just showing how pleased he was to have his son back.

I will be watching "blood" tonight... then I will be able to determine if your remarks are valid. Before then, I will reserve judgement. If you do not like this 'position', and expect me to take your remarks on faith... "there will be disspointment". That is all.
