THE CURIOUS CASE OF BENJAMIN BUTTON

Writer Eric Roth uses the same narrative structure for this story as he used in "Forest Gump." That was a good decision.

If you enjoyed Gump, Big Fish, Pan's Labyrinth, Beowulf or Bridge to Terabithia, you will love, “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button,” as much as I did.

This film was almost three hours long and I hated to see it end.

Cate Blanchett, Brad Pitt, Julia Ormond, Taraji P. Henson as QUEENIE, Jason Flemyng as THOMAS BUTTON and Jared Harris as THE TUGBOAT CAPTAIN, head a fine cast.

The imaginative and creative set designs are worth the price of admission.

What this movie has to say about life, romance, love, child rearing, family and death is both poignant and profound.

This is not one you should miss - it was a privilege to be in the full house audience of viewers seeking quality entertainment and not a lot of silly dialogue and big explosions. I was at the first show, before noon and I had to sit in the first row to get a seat.

THIS QUOTE FROM THE MOVIE IS SO MEANINGFUL AND CORRECT - IF I HAD ONLY EXPERIENCED THIS STATEMENT AND NOTHING ELSE - I WOULD BE WELL PLEASED ---

We're meant to lose the people we love.

How else are we supposed to know how important they are?
