RIO

I found very little in "RIO" able to "reach" me. I watched, but did not care.
It may be fine for children in the fifth grade or below, but I don't see it holding the attention of anyone above that grade level.
These are comments from critics in various locals:
*a fairly typical children's movie
*tired
* colorful, but colorless
*expect the expected
* like a piece of candy, tasty but soon forgotten.
This is a film made by people who just seemed to want to make a film, whether about brooms, seashells or rare macaws.
I did not hate it or love it, it was just there in front of me for far too long.
