THREE MUSKETEERS

I was open to following "The Three Musketeers" wherever it might take me.
Sadly, I did not have a very long journey. It showed a great deal of promise at the
start, but it failed to progress as it attempted to move on, instead it repeated
itself and rapidly declined.
Even the wonderful Christoph Waltz, as the corrupt
Cardinal Richelieu , could not elevate this movie.
It is not a good sign when the costumes are the highlight of a film.
Adults may find the film redundant, children may find it too violent
and teenagers won't care about the political
storyline - where is the audience for this film?
