FOOTLOOSE

I went to the theatre planning to see 'Footloose," and return
home to write about how bad the movie was and how it is almost blasphemy to remake a
Kevin Bacon film.
I was forced to change my plans after seeing this production. The
cast and crew did a fine job ofmaking this film work on several levels. This is suppose to
be a heartwarming, comedy, romance and coming of age story, with a little
theology thrown in; they basically touched all these bases and got most of it
right. I won't list the cast, since only Dennis Quaid's name would ring a
bell, but they were all excellent.
This is a winner.
