"The Three Stooges" movie has certain requirements for the
audience. One, don't go in with very high expectations. Two, give the filmmakers credit for trying to update a legendary franchise.
Three, appreciate the effort put into this film by the six actors playing the stooges as kids and adults; if you can ever really think of the stooges as adults. Four, thank the writers for avoiding raunchy jokes and keeping to the clean tradition that was normal for the era of the original stooges. No one will say this is a great movie, but I was able to appreciate what is had to offer. The inclusion of talented singer, Jennifer Hudson, was not really utilized. The appearance of the Jersey Shore cast is a treat for the younger audience, but it may be too little and too late to rescue the film from mediocrity.
