This story, concerns a child battling cancer and how it affects each member of her family.
From the first scene until the very end, the intent is to have the audience in tears. Sometimes, tears of joy, sometimes of sorrow, but always tears.
The story is designed to manipulate the audience and I have to salute the film’s makers for doing it very well.
Abigail Breslin, Sofia Vassilieva and Evan Ellingson are the wonderful children.
Joan Cusack is outstanding as a family court judge and Alec Baldwin shows how good he can be in a role that demands a high level performance.
No dry eyes allowed, bring a handkerchief.
