I was asked if I had a problem with Angelina Jolie playing a character written for a male actor.
I did have an issue with someone barely 110 pounds tossing big men around like teddy bears.
Putting that issue aside, "Salt" is a decent summer escapist movie. It has a plot that keeps you involved, with a new twist and turn every ten minutes.
It does a good job of laying the many characters and locations before you in a way that you can follow and invites you to speculate on what the next step might be.
As I was leaving the theatre, a patron on the way in asked me "how was it?"... my answer was "over the top" in the fight scenes, but it still managed to have enough emotion to keep you interested.
