This is a worthy production, about a very hot topic, the presidential election
process in these United States of America.
process in these United States of America.
The actors are a fine group: George Clooney, Ryan Gosling, Paul Giamatti, Phillip Seymour Hoffman and Jeffrey Wright.
The one flaw I encountered was a major obstacle to this film reaching its full
potential: there was no involvement by the viewer.

You watch the story unfold and it holds your full attention, but you
never really feel a rooting interest in the characters. Whether they succeed or
fail, is of little import to the audience, so the film has no emotional appeal;
without that element it is a nice film, quickly forgotten.

I seem to be closing on a negative note, but again, the story is able to hold your attention
and you want to see the next twist and turn, but you don't really have a horse in this race.
