GRAN TORINO

Gran Torino highlights a glaring weakness of actor / director Clint Eastwood; he is hopelessly incapable of making a bad film. He could not do it if he tried and we are blessed that he does not try.

This film has very deep themes of urban ills and emotional despair, yet, humor dominates a great deal of the story. It is a weird mixture.

The theatre rocked with laughter and told everyone, this is a special movie. Strong language abounds, but it is fitting to the storyline.

THIS IS A COMBINATION OF *THE KARATE KID MEETS *ARCHIE BUNKER & *DIRTY HARRY & *THE SHOOTIST ( JOHN WAYNE'S LAST FILM, WHICH NOT ENOUGH PEOPLE HAVE SEEN).

Clint is the only actor in the film you could name, but this cast is top notch. I suggest you hurry to the box office, tickets will be scarce.
