I decided to consult the experts to evaluate "Happy Feet." Jayden Law, a first grade student, has seen both editions of this film and he thought each one was wonderful. Jayden was supported by fourth grader, Sarah Paguaga, of Buena Vista Elementary. She saw both and considered them equal in quality. Her favorite character was Eric, she felt his soulful singing really touched her heart. I was most impressed by the support given the kids opinions by their parents; Mr. Law and Mr. and Mrs. Paguaga were more charmed by this film than the children - that is a sure sign of a winner. There is no generation gap with this movie. I will not swim against the tide of public opinion.
